Talsi Christian School started with spiritual, practical and financial help of American Christians. Through almost 20 years of the service American Christians have been part of our school through their prayers and giving. The principal of Talsi Christian School, Inguna Gruznina, goes to the United States twice a year – in spring and fall. This fall Inguna’s trip is planned from Oct. 23 – Dec. 2. Please, pray for safe travels and that God would open door to churches, Sunday school classes, leadership committees, businesses and individuals for Inguna to share about the ministry of Talsi Christian School and raise support to keep the School doors open.
In 1995 Talsi Christian School started with 37 students grades 1-4. God grew the School and today we have 268 students grades 1 – 12. Talsi Christian School has accomplished 2 large building projects to provide the space for the growing school and we are out of space again!
Parents are registering their children at TCS and for the year of 2015/2016 we already have 31 applications. Because of the lack of space, we can only accept 22 students. TCS is in a need of a 1 Million dollars to build an addition to the school that could house classrooms, and science labs.
Talsi Christian school has lived from „hand to mouth” all these years and we say Halleluiah as it has been God’s hand that has provided! Please, pray for Endowment for TCS – it would provide some financial security for TCS.
Today teacher Aija’s ( Latvian teacher) husband Gunars was taken to the hospital in Riga with a heart attack. Please, pray Gunars healing and peace for Aija, her daughter Ieva and son Valters.
